NC Girl Eats... and she's eating Weight Watchers-style!  Yes, I have decided that I am tired of paying for WW and not seeing any results (that happens when you don't bother to follow the program, ya know!).  So I am embarking on my second week of *really* following THE PLAN and I'm documenting it all here.

So here we go...

I had some friends over for a Mediterranean Feast last night and I'm excited to have left-overs for lunch today.  It was all good, healthy food, so I didn't feel guilty "indulging" last night and I won't feel guilty enjoying it again today!

Also, I'm joining my cousin and his fiancé for a food tuck rodeo this evening at a local winery!  I'm not sure what will end up on my plate, but I'm thinking something from ChirbaChirba, which specializes in Chinese dumplings, sounds good.  Nom!

This was so good!
Breakfast: Fat-free Greek yogurt (I think Trader Joe's brand is pretty good) with Bob's Red Mill 5 Grain Rolled Cereal (I just added this in dry), raspberries & blackberries (from The Produce Box I got yesterday) and honey (from a friend's dad's home hive).  Washed down with a Diet Coke (and the caffeine is NOT working! I'm so sleepy this morning!). That's 4 PP if you are keeping track.

Not a great picture, but you get the idea, right?
Lunch: Greek quinoa salad, tabbouleh, hummus & a peach.  I made the quinoa from a recipe I found online and it's REALLY good.  And the tabbouleh and hummus are from Neomonde, a local Lebanese restaurant/market.  Neomonde's hummus is the BEST you will ever eat. Ever, I'm telling ya!  Add to that a big cup of water.  And that adds another 10 PP to the day.

Dinner: Food truck rodeo!  Ryan, Hillary, Kristine and I shared some tasty bits, but I forgot to take any pictures - doh!  So I will tell you about it... We started off with a bottle of Chatham Hill viognier and split an order of pork dumplings with various dipping sauces from ChirbaChirba.  The dumplings were good, but we all decided that we could have endured a bit more heat in them.  Next, we split an Italian sausage sub on a stick from Baguetteaboudit, a slice of pizza from Klausie's (Popeye-opolis with spinach, feta, tomato and minced garlic) and finished up by splitting a grilled cheese from American Meltdown.  We split another bottle of wine - Chatham Hill pinot grigio - and each had a pomegrante wine slushie.  I'm having to guesstimate pointage on this excursion - 10 PP for the beverages and 10 PP for the food.

Snack:  I had a little gnawing in my stomach about 9:00 or so, so I had a snack.  I made some Yonanas with mango, pineapple and raspberries.  Again, I forgot to take a picture before I ate it, but it was tasty.  And 0 PP because it was all fruit!

Daily totals: 26 PP + 8 WPA; Day of rest :-(
